JUST about any Kia model is likely to make a good used purchase for the simple fact that you get a seven-year warranty from the factory, which means that many examples on the used market will still have some cover left on them. There’s more to the Sportage than the warranty back-up, though, because it’s also well equipped and has an excellent infotainment system that’s packed with features.
It’s roomy, too, relatively comfortable and attractive inside and out, although it is a bit dull to drive. It’s also not the cheapest to run, especially in petrol form, but that transferable warranty, strong infotainment, plenty of practicality and a wide range of choice means used buyers have plenty to enjoy.
