I’ll say it: The RG250 Gamma’s a great, but flawed bike. Sweet handling, plenty of stopping power and perfectly-proportioned looks.

The flaw is, and always has been, the weak engine nestling in that box-section alloy frame. Highly-strung, the claimed 45bhp was a far cry from the 32bhp it would actually muster on a real-world dyno at the back wheel.
