One of Britain’s brightest young talents, Leo Hayter enjoyed a triumphant autumn, winning the U23 version of Liège-Bastonge-Liège and following it up three days later with a stage victory at Le Tour de Bretagne, before rounding out his season by taking the U23 national time trial title.
The 20-year-old has opted to stay one more season at U23 level with Development Team DSM and is targeting GC success in stages races as he hopes to turn professional in 2023.
