When the web starts slowing down, it’s useful to know if the problem is with) and mobile app. Click the extension’s toolbar button, then click Go and it will test your download and upload speeds, and ping speed, and provide the results in megabits per second (Mbps) and milliseconds (ms). This will tell you if you’re getting the connection speed you’re paying your ISP for. Usefully, Speedtest by Ookla also measures how long the site you’re currently viewing takes to load, so you can see if it’s particularly slow - look in the Web Speed section at the bottom of the extension window (see screenshot). It’s worth running the speed test several times to get an average figure.
