True blue Phi on trials

Royal Huisman’s electric-blue-hulled superyacht Project Phi has been unveiled for the first time after leaving the shed and beginning rigorous sea trials. Designed by Cor D. Rover, the all-aluminium 58.5-metre is due to be delivered alongside its 36-metre which hit the water in early 2021. Naval architecture has been penned by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, while the yacht’s distinctive interior comes from the boards of London design studio Lawson Robb. Phi will incorporate “a range of subtle hints to the natural world that surrounds the yacht”, the Dutch yard previously revealed, and will be a “technically highly advanced vessel that sets new standards”.
