Waddling into the freshly painted nursery, I admired my hubby Stephen’s handiwork on the newly constructed cot. ‘Perfect,’ I smiled.
Piles of sleepsuits were waiting for our arrival. We had a pram, a car seat. ‘We can start planning Christmas now,’ I grinned.
It was late September 2009 and our first baby was due any day.
