y favorite thing about interviewing HGTV stars Erin and Ben Napier was discovering that they are just as charming as they appear on their home. Their personalities aren’t put on for TV, and their chemistry isn’t due to the magic of editing. My other favorite thing was that even though I was the interviewer, Ben was the one who asked the first question in our conversation. I realize now how brilliant a choice it was for the network to give him his own talk show. is technically a carpentry show, but it’s the human interaction that gives the show its heart — a sentiment that also applies to the design-centric but touching .
