    As even she has noticed, Hayley Sproull is on television rather a lot. Of late, some weeks she’s managed a trifecta – co-hosting The Great Kiwi Bake Off on TVNZ 1, presenting comedy panel show Have You Been Paying Attention? on TVNZ 2, and appearing as a guest on Three’s 7 Days.

    “I’m like a rash. You can’t get rid of me,” she deadpans to the Listener when her small-screen ubiquity comes up for discussion.

    To round off the year, she has two Christmas specials on consecutive nights – a celebrity charity one for that serves year-ender the following night. The latter is screening just before the live broadcast of this year’s Aotearoa Music Awards. Wouldn’t it be funny if she were presenting that as well … er, is she?
