S&W 6904

The S&W 6904 is a DA/SA semiautomatic pistol with an aluminum alloy frame and a carbon steel slide chambered in 9mm with a magazine capacity of 12 rounds. Smith & Wesson offered this pistol from 1990 to about 1998. Based on the serial number on this pistol, its manufacture date is 1991.

This isn’t my first go-around with this series. For many years, I’ve felt that the third-generation semi-auto pistols by Smith & Wesson ranked as some of the best semi-autos that the company ever made.
