THE past few years have been hard on everyone. Battling the bushfires then the pandemic, we’ve had park closures, border closures, lockdowns and restricted travel bringing the country to a standstill. Now it’s a new year and things are (hopefully, fingers crossed) on the up. With walking trails and campsites open and operating we’re able to get away and hit the trails for the summer holidays! So wipe the dust off your camping gear and fill your 45L backpacks to the brim. Try these multi-day walks in your own state, or if borders are open why not travel interstate for a new trail to explore.
