A new Vitruvius has been launched at was built for repeat client around submarine exploration. The 7.3-tonne, three-passenger sub (a U-Boat Worx C-Explorer 3) was the starting point of the design. It had to fit on the aft deck, along with a massive crane that could launch it in all sea states. The deck also accommodates a limo tender and an all-terrain vehicle. Because the yacht’s future itinerary includes passages through ice, the vessel is fitted with a 23-tonne gyroscope instead of stabilizer fins – the largest gyro installed on a vessel of this type to date.
