A Female Gaze
HE SEATTLE ART Museum pays tribute to native daughter Imogen Cunningham with a retrospective exhibition of the photographer’s career, which lasted from the Pictorialist era of the pre-World War I era through the 1970s. “Imogen Cunningham: A Retrospective” (through February 6), the first exhibition of its kind in 35 years, assembles some 200 works, including portraits of artists, musicians and Hollywood stars; flower and plant studies; street photography; and nudes.
