Welcome to this month’s round-up of all that’s best in our wonderful knitting community! We start in Manchester with our knitter’s guide to this vibrant northern metropolis (right) – it’s a city that has a lot to offer! We’ve also found some great local yarn shops that run regular craft clubs in-store, what could be better? Our store of the month is Craft Sisters in Devon, and we catch up with the fundraising ladies from the Prosecco & Purls group in Caerleon, South Wales as well as hearing about Wool Couture’s exciting new plans. This month’s great causes to knit for are both children’s charities – The Archie Foundation in the Aberdeen area (page 82) and Manchester-based Francis House (page 83).
