The worldwide supply chain pain ongoing at press time presents different problems for different companies, including those in the knife industry. How each of the latter is affected depends largely on whether it imports its knives, manufactures them or has others produce them domestically.

Chris Reeve Knives is a domestic manufacturer and makes its knife parts in-house or has them specially made. However, thanks to “the new abnormal,” delivery of CRK’s specially made parts is never a given.
