Have a quality Christmas

THERE’S A common saying in the drinks world, “Life is too short to drink bad wine.” In line with the government’s health advice on alcohol consumption (see my article in Choice last month) and some recent challenging health issues of my own, I for one will be drinking a little less this year.

That being the case, it doesn’t mean I can’t trade up and enjoy some finer wines to have a real ‘Quality Christmas’. Drinking less but better is a good mantra to use.

Alcohol prices are usually very keen at Christmas, especially on the supermarket shelves, where they are all eager to outdo each other for your festive booze budget.
