ALL IN A DAY’S WORK

It’s called the car scene, the van scene, the Volkswagen scene but they are all misnomers. What it really is, is a people scene. The cars and the vans are cool, but they are nothing without the people behind them. Dan Longhurst is one of the special people. Not only because he has been crushing it living with cystic fibrosis, but because of what he’s doing in the name of raising awareness and funding to research the genetic condition.

Much of his inspiration comes from the American entrepreneur and founder of Beats Electronic, Jimmy Iovine’s words used in the intro to Dr. Dre’s song ‘All in a day’s work’ where he says “I always felt that I had to work harder than the next guy, just to do as well as the next guy. And to do better than the next guy I had to just kill. And you know, to a certain extent, that’s still with me in how I work, you know, I just... go in.” Dan adds, “This quote fired something
