FODEN RESTORATION

His first encounter with Foden was as a 21-year-old driving S80 and S83 eight-wheel tippers with his local employer Penllyne Haulage Ltd., Cowbridge, South Wales during the late 1970s, starting with VBO 101S.

While restoring a Foden Haulmaster – HAV 393Y – 8x4 tipper in 2015 in the same colour scheme as this current restoration, Geoff was hunting for parts and came across a Showman’s LWB 8x4 flat series 2 Foden and thought… maybe one day?
