New Zealand’s long love affair with the 4WD shows no sign of diminishing, in fact if anything the market has gone mad as we enter the final weeks of 2021. Auto brands report unprecedented demand for SUVs and double cab utes. But what if a buyer wants to stand out with something that isn’t ‘what everyone else is having’? We still want maximum comfort and convenience, practicality and power, but among the swarms of samey-samey utes out there we also want to say ‘I’m not that guy’.
