BRANDS HATCH: MSVR BY BRIAN PHILLIPS NOVEMBER 20-21

MITCHELLS IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL AT BRANDS

They didn’t start as favourites, but brothers Gary and Ian Mitchell came through from 24th on the starting grid to beat the father-son pairing of Simon andAdam Bonham by just over half a minute after 396 laps in the third EnduroKa 500, the last race of the Brands Hatch season.

The Mitchells’car, running under the GM Performance banner, reached the front on lap 181, and remained a strong contender for the rest of the eight hours-plus event.
