HE WAS shutting up shop when he heard the call for help. At first, Rendani Vhulade thought it was all in his imagination: it was around 8.30pm and the kitchen at his fast-food business had already closed so he wasn’t expecting any customers.
“At first I thought I was hearing things,” he says. “When I got to the gate I saw four Indian boys in school uniforms standing there. That was a surprise in itself because we don’t often see Indian people here.”
He went to fetch his girlfriend, Stephina Kulani Simango, and she realised in a flash who their surprise visitors were: the Moti brothers,
