I’ve always wondered how it was that some things are remembered well and others not so much. Why some songs would stick in my head and others not; how I could still recall complex classical studies I learned 30 years ago but not the easy pop chords of a song I learned and taught last week.

So being me, I needed to research what the heck was going on and figure out how to solve it. I found at least a few of the answers as I’ve been testing on myself the last couple of months.
