2021 Buyer’s Guide on the 1960-’61 Chrysler 300F and 300G. Owning a ’62 Chrysler 300 Sport convertible, I was hoping you included that year, as there are many similarities. Yes, 1962 was the year of the “Plucked Chicken,” and the first year of the Sport model. But, looking at my car, it is also unique and optioned towards performance. My car has no power steering or brakes, nor outside rearview mirrors. The car does have the optional 413, leather interior, and the factory three-speed manual transmission. Unfortunately, there are no production numbers that I have found. An inquiry to Chrysler Historical Services did confirm some information on what the car came with.
