American sailor Bob McNeil was no stranger to boats when he stopped by Rutherford’s Boatshop one day to tell Jeff Rutherford that he wanted Jeff to find a boat, a boat that would be a great project. Jeff came back to Bob with the idea of restoring , a 58ft (17.7m) Herreshoff P-Class yacht built in 1911 (CB193). was in a decrepit state when Jeff found her, sitting in the back of a boat shop in Barnstable, Massachusettes, would be undergoing a massive restoration in Rutherford’s Boatshop in Richmond, California
