‘We have all had enough talking so we need to put our words into practice’

He has called on us for half a century to protect the planet, but the Prince of Wales spoke more passionately than ever in a series of hard-hitting speeches at Cop26 last week.

The Duke of Rothesay, as he is called north of the border, spent a whirlwind week at the Glasgow summit, addressing world leaders and officials.

In between, he met everyone from US President Joe Biden to Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, who was at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, where designer Stella McCartney was showcasing her sustainable clothes.

GREEN LUXURY

The display included luxury handbags made from vegan, lab-grown mushroom leather and futuristic vegan football boots created in collaboration with Manchester United star Paul Pogba and Adidas.
