Life on the Home Front, until 11 December
From shared conditions of bombing and rationing to individual accounts of evacuation, internment and civilian war-work, this small display gives a flavour of the experience of those living and working in Britain during the Second World War. Letters, original illustrations, photographs, books and leaflets, together with items issued to air raid wardens, illuminate their stories and bring them to life.
