With so many events having been cancelled this year we decided to make up one of our own. Popsie had been locked away for many months so I was rather worried she but, suffice to say, the Mini went well apart from clobbering some obstruction in the road. This caused the exhaust to blow and precipitated yet another visit, on our return home, to my ever-helpful garage man, Alan, at ANS Auto services in Send. He put her up on the ramp and rapidly diagnosed a split in the flexible joint where the downpipe meets the exhaust. A new part was ordered and fitted and my wallet was relieved of more of those annoying bank notes.
