JEN BEST is a leading expert in the art of making traditional Dorset buttons, which are made by weaving yarn in intricate patterns around a metal ring. Her enthusiasm for this tradition has been shared with many people through her workshops, online tutorials and books. Jen has a passion for many other crafts, too, including knitting, hand-dyeing, weaving and felting, and this love of handicrafts led her to set up her own shop, Beaker Button.
