Brilliant, strange, fast and manic are all words I’d use to describe this season; it’s been a year like no other and just like that, the British Superbike championships are over. I’d be lying if I said it had gone completely to plan. In fact, it’s been quite the opposite. In pre-season testing I was quietly confident I was going to be fighting for the National Superstock Championship this season. We were fast straight away, topping the official test at Silverstone and on the money at the Oulton and Donington tests.
