My first real band started around 2002 or 2003 when I was a freshman in high school. We would walk from school to my buddy Paul’s house every day to write weird songs and rip off the Misfits. His dad had a bunch of rad vintage guitars, including an SG-style bass, so I spent hundreds of hours messing around with those—thank you, Eric.
