In the last couple of issues we’ve looked at what’s involved in creating the effortless feeling of flow, and taken a tongue-in-cheek look into the science behind building stability on the trail. In this issue we’ll look at putting the two of these together in order to increase speed.

Why is it that every time you try to go faster you end up making more mistakes and it all starts coming undone? And why are your cleanest runs – the ones where you feel like it’s all coming together with no effort – your fastest?
