FEI WBFSH eventing World Breeding Championships for young horses, Le Lion d’Angers, France

AUSTRALIA’S Kevin McNab and Cute Girl were in imperious form at Le Lion d’Angers, leading the 58-strong seven-year-old championship from start to finish to triumph on their dressage score of 26.9.

“It’s amazing to win this. I had to look at the scoreboard a couple of times to check we’d won as I knew we didn’t have a second in hand; it was a relief when I realised we’d done it,” said Kevin.
