Caravan 100 prototype takes shape

TrailLite has a long history of manufacturing motorhomes, and the brand is well known around the country for its luxury motorhomes, designed by Kiwis for Kiwis to travel our roads and head off the beaten track for long periods. However, the manufacturer’s roots were in the production of the humble caravan; from 1954 TrailLite started the production of caravans and grew to be a dominant force in the market for many years. By the 1970s the company had honed its skills in a crowded manufacturing market to concentrate on quality over quantity, solidifying their position at the top of the caravan manufacturer’s ladder.
