You’ve seen rainbows. Maybe you even know what causes them. Light from the Sun (which must be behind you) shines on water droplets in the air (which must be in front of you). Sunlight enters the front edge of the water droplets then reflects off he far edge of the droplets back toward you. The light is bent when it moves from air to water or vice versa. This bending of light is called refraction. Sunlight contains light of every color of the spectrum. Violet light is refracted the most. Red
