When my ship comes in…

ne day when I am all grown up, or when my ship comes in, I will chase my dreams. Or so we often think. Whenever I hear this, I can’t help but recall the children’s movie, . It tells the story of Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old man who sells balloons. He and his wife, Ellie, met as children, got married and always dreamt of visiting the forbidden Paradise Falls in South America. They saved and saved, but – as it goes in life – they always need money for some or other crisis and never make it. Ellie later passes away, and Carl remains determined to fulfil his promise to his wife and embark on his adventure.
