Harper’s Bazaar: What drew you to be a part of Bombay Begums?

Ironically, the first time I was offered the role of Rani in the show, I declined it because I was working on as its Associate Director. However, my father insisted that I pack my bags to join the show. I said, ‘Baba, I love you, but my sense of duty to my work is far greater than my love for you. I am not going to leave a job halfway.’, which was directed by him. Working with him was a personal milestone for me.
