This year, 2021, is the third year of the Bob Brown Foundation’s takayna Trail, a 51km ultramarathon held in North West Tasmania’s magnificent-but-threatened takayna/Tarkine area. It is a major event for the region, bringing runners from around Australia to run through some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. This year, however, its future was in doubt.
