A little more room
With more room in the workshop and fewer bikes to demand attention, it might be assumed the remaining machines work better… so goes the theory at least. Real life, however, isn’t quite as accommodating.
For some reason it seems whenever I wanted to head to the workshop to do stuff something else came up. I doubt I’m different to anyone else who looks after their own bikes in respect of doing work on them isn’t something which can be dropped in and out of, those ‘five minute’ jobs take a little longer if they’re to be done properly and I’ve learnt through painful and exhausting experience to not take short cuts in workshop time. Is it just me whose bike will expire at the furthest distance on the course from the support vehicle?
So, with time at a premium, workshop stuff has been restricted to lists and trying to seek out parts for various aspects of the fleet.
