Officially launching 31 July, the new addition to Mount Lofty House’s centrepieces include an infinity pool, two spring-fed hot pools, a day spa set in a historical cottage – one of only two places in the world where the trademarked Jurlique rose is planted – and a three chef-hatted restaurant. Each of the 14 suites comes with a daybed on a cantilevered balcony with dizzying views over Piccadilly Valley.
The factor: Excursions from the lodge include making tracks on the winding roads of the Adelaide Hills in a series of supercars.
