SUBTLE SEDUCTION

ARTISANAL COLLAGE

Designed in Singapore by textile artist Tiffany Loy and crafted in Kyoto by heritage manufacturer Kojima Orimono, Karasando is a series of collages made from linen fabric and washi paper from local furniture brand Grafunkt. Each artwork comprises hand-torn Japanese washi paper, laid out and sandwiched between two layers of linen fabric in different colours. There are five designs in this first collection, produced in a limited run of four unique pieces each, with more limited edition collections to follow.
