Other Distortion on ‘Double Beard’ Lincoln Cent

I have a 2000-D double beard penny. What I initially noticed was Lincoln’s face: his nose has a large raised surface on the bottom and his mouth looks distorted. I have read about double beard pennies, but they have never mentioned Lincoln’s face.
