n 12 July 2021 the newest addition to the DFDS fleet, the £100 million E-Flexer ferry , entered Dover for the first time. Although eclipsed by the P&O pair and in terms of gross tonnage, , at 214m, became the longest ever ferry to call into the port. She completed berthing trials at the Eastern Docks, testing linkspans at Berths 3 and 7 successfully, upon her arrival, ready for an entry into service
