CHAIN GANG CROCHET CUSHION

Note: The bulkiness of the chains makes this cushion comfy to sit on – it is a popular style of flat floor cushion in Japan. It would look equally at home as a chair pad at your dining room table!

STITCH GUIDE

A note on gauge: Whilst gauge/tension is not essential for this project, it is important to keep in mind that a firm fabric for your cushion is preferable. If you are a loose crocheter, try going down to a 4.5mm hook. Conversely, if you are tight, try a 5.5mm hook. Design Notes: The chain links which form the structure of top of the pad are crocheted as open links and then joined by whipstitching together during the making-up phase of the pattern.
