Fashion weeks have been revamped this season, and this revamp officially marked the arrival of technologically-forward fashion films in India. The process of curating a collection was completely subverted with virtual meet-ups and catwalks without an enclosed runway, but the changes didn’t hold the designers back. Presentations ranged from an underwater show featuring nymphs in flowy couture, to background monologues on gender, diversity, and various other depictions in which the creative envelope was pushed.
