SETTING FOR THE COMPETITION THAT DECIDES WHO WILL REPRESENT OCEANIA AT THE OLYMPICS MUST HAVE BEEN VERY STRESSFUL, HOW MUCH PRESSURE DID YOU FEEL?
I have been setting for national events for more than ten years now and I have to say this was the first one where I was really nervous when comp day came along. I wouldn’t say I was stressed, but I was definitely nervous. We had never set for the combined format in Australia, so that could have played on my mind a little. I think as competition setters we are always thinking, did we set hard enough?
OUTSIDE OF A SPREAD OF CLIMBERS, WAS THERE ANYTHING YOU WERE TRYING TO ACHIEVE WITH THE ROUTES AND PROBLEMS? A STYLE? KIND OF MOVEMENT?
