It is notable that more multi-unit residential developments were entered in this year’s New Zealand Institute of Architects’ Local Architecture Awards than ever before. Also notable was that award winners include multi-unit projects commissioned by two of the country’s most significant providers of detached single-family homes: Kāinga Ora (formerly Housing New Zealand) and Fletcher Living.
