My first AFCON was stolen, but now I’ll have a team there

To be in Yaounde for my first Africa Cup of Nations draw in August was such an exciting time as a coach.

I should have been at the draw four years ago for the 2017 AFCON; I was coaching Togo and after four of the six matches, we had seven points. That was the same number of points as Gambia had this time around and I was certain that Togo would qualify.
