Rossetti’s portraits

Although best known for his sensuous paintings of female beauties, Rossetti produced portraits of at least 90 different people throughout his career. This major exhibition at The Holburne Museum in Bath is the first ever dedicated to his portraits. Works on show include portraits of family and friends as well as members of the Pre-Raphaelite circle, such as William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais, Jane Morris, Elizabeth Siddal and Fanny Cornforth.

Rossetti’s Portraits is at the Holburne Museum, Great Pulteney Street, Bath until 9 January 2022. For more information visit www.holburne.org
