I WAS SPORTY AS A CHILD. I loved cross country and netball in primary school and intermediate. I was a good runner (whatever that means!) and liked the social element of team sport. Unfortunately, like the statistics still indicate today, I dropped out of participating in traditional/competitive sport at about 14 years of age and didn’t really do anything to keep active during my teenage years.
