As a child, I belonged to both athletics clubs and the local joggers club. My father and I used to run every weekend with the local joggers. As a young kid, I was involved in swimming and competed nationally, then moved into cycling at a national level. During high school, my PE teacher encouraged me to do a duathlon (run, bike, run).
