Q Which easy plants can I grow for an attractive front garden?

A CHRISTINE SAYS New Zealand Flax are low maintenance, look good throughout the year and are now available in a wide range of colours. Phormium ‘Maori Sunrise’ produces leaves that are striped in shades of pink and cream, Phormium ‘Dazzler’ has red leaves with a wonderful arching habit, while P. tenax ‘Variegatum’ produces upright growth with green leaves edged with cream.

These all look great, especially in the winter, being evergreens.
